Phew, it’s been a while.
But, some stuff I still remember:
awesome multi-level setting, especially since we got a little high up nook;
being surrounded by wine bottles on every side, and (perhaps not surprising given the name) a wine list as long as a very long thing after being stretched to breaking point (of course some of them were, ahem, a bit pricey).
At the end of the month, when you're broke, you eat salty crackers. At the end of the month, when we get paid, we go forth into Cape Town and demand that it give us of its best in celebratory food, drink and good conversation with friends. So far this appears to be working.
